2.3 Driver Information Collected via Application Forms
The Service provides DOT-compliant employment application forms that drivers complete directly. When a driver submits an application through the Service, we collect and store the information they provide on behalf of the motor carrier. This may include:

- Motor vehicle accident history and moving violations
- Driving experience and equipment operated
- Criminal history disclosures, where permitted by law
- Medical certification status
- Any other information required by DOT/FMCSA application standards
Drivers may also upload documents directly to the Service when requested by a motor carrier, including copies of CDLs, medical certificates, and other qualification documents.
Important: Motor carriers are responsible for ensuring that they have the legal right to collect, process, and store driver personal information through the Service, including obtaining any necessary consents and providing any required disclosures to drivers or applicants. Driver Pipe processes this information on behalf of the motor carrier.
Notice to Drivers: By completing an application or uploading documents through Driver Pipe, you acknowledge that your information will be stored in the Service and accessible to the motor carrier that requested it. You also acknowledge that Driver Pipe may use your contact information to communicate with you regarding the Service, including but not limited to service-related notifications, platform updates, and information about Driver Pipe's products and services. See Section 3 for details on how your information is used.
2.4 Payment Information
Subscription payments are processed securely by our third-party payment processor, Stripe. When you subscribe, your payment information (such as credit card details) is collected and processed directly by Stripe. Driver Pipe does not store your full payment card details on our servers. Stripe's handling of your payment information is governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy.

4. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share your information only in the following circumstances:
4.1 Service Providers
We share information with trusted third-party service providers who assist us in operating the Service, including cloud hosting and infrastructure providers, payment processing (Stripe), email delivery services, and customer support tools. These providers are contractually required to use your information only for the purposes of providing services to us and to maintain appropriate security measures.
4.2 Driver Communications
When you use features that send document requests or application links to drivers (such as requesting CDL copies or DOT applications), the driver will receive communications containing your company name and instructions. Only the information necessary to facilitate the request is shared.
4.3 Legal Requirements
We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or if we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request.
4.4 Business Transfers
If Driver Pipe is involved in a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any such change and any choices you may have regarding your information.
5. Cookies and Tracking
We use only essential cookies necessary for the functioning of the Service, such as session cookies for authentication and security. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics tools that track your activity across other websites.
You can control cookie settings through your browser. Disabling essential cookies may affect the functionality of the Service.
6. Data Storage and Security
Your information is stored and processed in the United States using cloud infrastructure providers. We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the security, confidentiality, and integrity of your information, including encryption of data in transit using TLS (Transport Layer Security).
However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. You acknowledge that you provide your information at your own risk.
7. Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. Upon cancellation or termination of your account, we retain your data for thirty (30) days, after which it becomes eligible for permanent deletion.

We may retain certain information beyond account termination where required by law, necessary for fraud prevention, or needed to enforce our Terms of Use. Any retained data will be securely stored and isolated from active use.
